Mike Lally Biography
Mike’s experience comes as a second generation businessman. His degree is in mechanical engineering but his passions are entrepreneurship, strategy and culture. For over 25 years, he and his 4 brothers lead the various sensor companies of the PCB Group. Mike was the founder and president of The Modal Shop which designed and manufactured vibration calibration systems and structural vibration test products.
The flagship brand, PCB Piezotronics, was founded by his uncle and his father in 1968 to serve product design engineers and machine maintenance technicians with quality vibration, force and pressure sensors. Serving blue chip customers like NASA, Lockheed, Raytheon, Boeing, Airbus, Daimler/Mercedes, BMW, Toyota, Ford, GM, GE, Siemens and Mitsubishi, as well as thousands of other electronics and durable goods manufacturers, the family team grew PCB Group through both organic sales and strategic acquisitions at a compound annual rate of over 15% from 1968 to 2016.
In July of 2016 PCB Group, with over a thousand employees world wide, was acquired by the public company MTS Systems Corp (MTSC) for $500 Million dollars to further serve customer synergies in the mechanical test and measurement market products.

Mike is now providing management consulting to our clients and through Suncoast Management Advisors and is developing an investment accelerator platform named Ven2re. He also serves on the board of the Florida Business Incubator and on the business advisory board for Travel Business Success.
Mike Lally Biography and Life Pursuits
With 4 kids through college, Mike is an active traveler both domestically and internationally. He lives in the Tampa/St Petersburg area with his wife and youngest son. Mike holds a private pilots license, enjoys adventure travel, weekend watersports and family time.
